Korea Day 3: Everland! And Shopping!!!

Day 3: Everland!!! I was just too excited! My goal was to ride the T-Express, one of the world's steepest wooden roller coaster. Now, how to get to Everland? If you're staying in the old part of Seoul, you need to take the subway to cross the river to get to Gangnam District.

Once you get out of Exit 10 of Gangnam Station, just go straight and look for the No. 5002 Bus Stop. Usually there would be a long line. I think it was in front of some shop named Who.A.U. Just use your T-Money card once you get on the bus. Travel time is about 45min to 1 hour as Everland is outside of the city. Before going out of the bus, you need to tap your T-Money card again so you pay the correct amount. :) The free shuttle bus is just a stone's throw away from the Everland Bus Stop. Just follow the locals. :)

Entrance!!!

I was expecting a bigger signage or something like other theme parks. The Everland name is quite small so had to zoom in. Past the gates, past the entrance booths, on the right side you'll see this small ticket booth for foreigners. See the picture below. Present your voucher or passport. Their not too strict if you don't have a voucher. It's KRW 37,000 per person when I went there.

Just go directly to this booth....mom, why?

It was during Halloween Season we visited Korea. So autumn + Halloween = winner!!! It's a theme park after all so you'll see lots of Halloween decors and some cute little ghosts like Casper. :) Makes you feel the cutesy and creepy vibes.
Halloween!!!

Well I can't drag my parents on extreme rides. So yeah, alone...waiting in line alone. Riding alone. Single riders..too bad no such thing as single riders line. :( Would make my life a teeny bit easy. Had to wait in line for the T-Express. Waiting time was one hour but I didn't mind since I just had to ride the T-Express. :)

Oh the lines...

You guys know about the Night Safari in Singapore? Well Everland has its own Safari and it's in broad daylight! :) So much better! Who cares if the lines were long! This was way better than the Night Safari. Just ask my parents :) For those who are not fan of extreme rides and just wants to relax well this Amazon Express is just for you. :)

White tigers! Lions! Tigers! In the pictures they look lazy, bored, somewhat sleeping. All of them were just you know, chilling, sleeping, just bored. No animals to chase for their food. I think they're well fed so no need to chase for their food. You can see the bear, yeah, the bears walk towards the bus drivers because of the popcorn treats. They're just so cute when you see them walkin on their two legs. Some of the bears chase the buses for the treats.

Must ride and must see: T-Express and Amazon Express.

All the other rides and attractions just have long, I mean long lines. So expect to wait around 45 minutes to 1 hour. Yep, the waiting eats up your day. So, just choose which rides and attractions you want to see. You can't do them all in one day. :( What you can do is go to see the huge garden!!!

It's just way behind T-Express.

We went on a couple of rides (Cable car, me - some spinning ride whatever) then it was time to go home.
7:30 PMLeave Everland

Ask if bus 5002 is going to Gangnam first
8:30-8:45 PMETA Gangnam

We had some street food in Gangnam. The tteokbokki was just too spicy for me. :( The other dishes were okay at least it wasn't spicy.

The two left pictures are Gangnam at night. The other ones are the street food that we ate. The tteokbokki is the one swimming in the red spicy sauce. After dinner we still had time to shop or maybe eat some more. So off we went to Lotte Mart Seoul Station branch.

9:30 - 9:45 PMETA Lotte Mart (Seoul Station (Seoul Subway Line 1, 4), Exit 1.)

Food and make up!!! It was on sale!!! Didn't take pictures though since I was busy looking at all the things I don't need but want to buy. :)  We bought a "couple" of beauty products from Face Shop and then we got this 10pcs of face masks. Shopping in Lotte Mart is way cheaper than shopping outside or probably cheaper than Myeongdong if you're looking for make-up.

Gangnam Area

Lotte Mart doesn't have plastic bags but they do have boxes where you can put all your items. You need to wrap them yourself. Oh if you exceed a certain amount you're eligible for a tax refund. Read this link for more details. :)

Everland, Gangnam, Lotte Mart for the win!!! We headed back to our hotel after our shopping in Lotte Mart.

11:00 PMETA Suitcasers
